China’s Exports of Textiles and Garment up 6.01% in November

In November, China’s exports of textiles and garment amounted to near US$ 23.12 billion, up 8.02% year-on-year (6.01% in CNY-denominated term), growing faster than October by 6.7 percentage points, statistics of the General Administration of the Customs showed.

In November, the export of textiles amounted to about US$ 9.99 billion, up 11.31% year-on-year (9.22% in CNY-denominated term); the export of garment amounted to US$ 13.13 billion, up 5.65% year-on-year (3.68% in CNY-denominated term).

In the first eleven months of this year, China’s exports of textile and garment grew slower than China’s total commodity exports by 4.3 percentage points.

In January-November, China’s exports of textiles and garment totaled near US$ 243.26 billion, up 1.57% year-on-year (5.01% in CNY-denominated term). The export of textiles stood at US$ 99.79 billion, up 4.02% year-on-year (7.6% in CNY-denominated term); the export of garment amounted to US$ 143.47 billion, down 0.07% from a year earlier (up 3.28% in CNY-denominated term).
