Four Textile-related Achievements Won 2020 National Science and Technology Awards

The CPC Central Committee and the State Council held a grand ceremony for the National Science and Technology Awards in Beijing. During the conference, 264 projects and 12 technology experts were honored with 2020 National Science and Technology Awards, including 46 State Natural Science Awards, 61 National Technological Invention Awards and 157 National Scientific and Technological Progress Awards. Thereinto, four achievements of the textile industry were awarded the National Scientific and Technological Progress Award.

The project “Key Technology and Industrialization of High-curvature Liquid Surface Electrospinning Nonwoven Material” and “Key Technology of Organic-inorganic In-situ High-sensitivity Multifunctional Fibers” won the second prize of 2020 National Scientific and Technological Invention Award. And “Preparation Technology and Application for Solid-phase Blending Thermotropic Polymer-based Hemp Fiber Composite” and “High-performance Seamless Weft-knitted Intelligent Equipment and Industrialization” won the second prize of 2020 National Scientific and Technological Progress Award. In addition, the project “Synergistic Treatment Technology and Application for Multi-pollutant in Industrial Flue Gas” participated by Sinoma Science & Technology Co., Ltd. won the first prize of the 2020 National Science and Technology Progress Award. The major achievements of the textile industry in the National Science and Technology Awards demonstrate the vitality and innovative strength of the industry’s scientific and technological innovation.
