Innovation in Yarn Sensors

Fil Control, which is recognized for the quality of its yarn sensors and cutters, is building on an R&D record that has been more than 12 new sensors and solutions introduced in the last three years. These have been applied in many fields, including on machine for spinning and drawing (long and short fiber), texturing, assembling and winding, twisting and covering.

Among a full range of products shown in ITMA Asia 2016 (Hall 1, Booth B15), Fil Control highlighted the new MYT-T tension sensor, which uses an innovative and unique on-line tension measurement technology with the advantage of limiting temperature influence and avoiding tension pick that can break the sensor head. This sensor is already used in the technical yarn industry and it is to be adapted for other assembling, winding and texturing operations.
