Shengze Town Promotes the “Intelligent Reform” & “Digital Revolution” of the Textile Industry

Since the beginning of this year, intending to accelerate the intelligent transformation and promote the integration of the real economy and digital economy, Shengze Town, Wujiang City has continued to strengthen and extend the high-quality industrial chain, so as to comprehensively promote the “intelligent reform” and “digital revolution” of the textile industry. In doing so, Shengze Town, Wujiang City can cultivate new development momentum for high-quality economic development and accelerate the establishment of a world-class high-end textile industrial cluster.

In response to the national call for intelligent manufacturing, the promotion of intelligent manufacturing is an important start point for the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry. Since 2015, Shengze Town, Wujiang City has taken the initiative to upgrade its textile industry. After six years of exploration and hard work, Shengze intelligent manufacturing cluster shows obvious advantages. The town has a total of 17 provincial-level intelligent workshops and 16 municipal-level demonstration intelligent workshops. In addition, Hengli Group and Shenghong Group won the national manufacturing championship.

In 2021, the People’s Government of Shengze Town has planned the blueprint for the development of intelligent transformation and compiled plans such as the Fashion City · Beautiful Shengze Three-year Action Plan (2021-2023), so as to realize the intelligent transformation of all enterprises above designated size in Shengze Town. In addition, High-quality Development Industrial Policy for Wujiang High-tech Zone has also been revised, providing new discounts for industrial enterprises’ intelligent transformation, so as to fully motivate the enterprise’s intelligent transformation and digital transformation.

In addition to 180 intelligent and digital transformation tasks issued by the district, Shengze Town seizes the opportunity and takes the initiative to complete 230 intelligent transformation and digital transformation projects this year. Therefore, Shengze Town will divide work tasks into small parts, including 63 digital transformation projects of 50 enterprises, 37 intelligent workshop (factory) diagnostic service projects, and 80 basic management projects of intelligent manufacturing. Each project is assigned to every enterprise. The intelligent transformation is included in the ten major special tasks of Shengze town.

Up to now, the town has passed 49 star-rated cloud companies, including 3 five-star companies, 29 four-star companies, and 17 three-star companies. In terms of projects for the intelligent transformation of equipment, it is estimated that CNY 1.22 billion will be invested in the intelligent industry from January to August. And smart workshop and factory diagnosis have completed their annual target tasks ahead of schedule.
