Profiles of exhibiting companies — CARIAGGI CASHMERE

The universe and the mineral world inspire a collection from Cariaggi Cashmere for Fall/Winter 17-18, introducing “The Atelier Collection”

New features for the A/W 2017-18 range stand out in the AtelierCollection: Storm, a precious carded cashmere (yarn count 2000 – 73% cashmere and 27% PA) for an extraordinary soft, elegant effect that is light to the touch.  The combination of the most prestigious cashmere fibres with a polyamide thread support has created a yarn with a unique structure and a particular technical cut that creates a singular and surprising downy effect, accentuating the cashmere’s soft hand.

Also from the Atelier Collection is Igloo, an exclusive combed yarn in cashmere (yarn count 1400 – 93% cashmere, 7% silk); a two-colour bouclé yarn, created by combining the best cashmere fibre with the best silk and available in two different colours.

Raising brings the cashmere fibre to the fore and thanks to the very latest technologically advanced roving machines, the melange effect is both refined and elegant.

Two other exclusive products complete the collection.Wow, a combed yarn (yarn count 4500 – 68% cashmere and 32% silk) made with a combination of the finest cashmere together with silk yarn. The sophisticated chain made with silk undergoes a raising process to bring out the full fluffiness and softness of the cashmere.  The result is a yarn that is extraordinarily soft to the touch, as well as exceptionally light. Secondly;Crash, a combed boucle(yarn count 4000 – 77 % cashmere and 23% silk) made by combining the best cashmere and silk fibres.  The use of coloured cashmere fibre, together with the raising technique brings the fun effect of the flame and softness of the cashmere fibre to the fore.
