The Total Profits of China’s Textile Industry Above Designated Size Increased in H1, 2021

According to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to June, the profit of China’s industrial enterprises above designated size totaled about CNY 4.22 trillion, seeing a year-on-year rise of 66.9%, surged by 45.5% compared with the same period of 2019. The two-year average growth was 20.6%. In the first half of 2021, the profit of manufacturing industry totaled more than CNY 3.56 trillion, soared by 67.3% year-on-year.

 

From January to June, the main business income of textile enterprises above designated size reached over CNY 1.17 trillion, seeing a year-on-year growth of 18.9%. The profit of textile industry totaled CNY 44.6 billion, with year-on-year growth of 2.3%. While the main business income of enterprises above designated size in garment and accessories industry reached CNY 653.38 billion, up by 13.0% year-on-year. And the profit of garment and accessories industry reached CNY 27.4 billion, with year-on-year growth of 13.9%.

 

From January to June, the main business income of leather, fur, feather and their products and footwear industry reached CNY 505.88 billion, up by 11.8% year-on-year; their profit totaled CNY 24.35 billion, with year-on-year growth of 13.5%.

 

From January to June, the main business income of enterprises above designated size in chemical fiber manufacturing industry was CNY 476.01 billion, up 35.0% year-on-year; and its profit totaled CNY 32.66 billion, surged by 387.5% year-on-year. In June, the profit of industrial enterprises above designated size totaled CNY 791.80 billion, up 20.0% year-on-year.
