The Total Profits of China’s Textile Industry Above Designated Size up 4.2% in January – July

According to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to July, the profit of China’s industrial enterprises above designated size totaled above CNY 4.92 trillion, surged by 57.3% year-on-year, and ballooned by 44.6% compared with the same period of 2019. The two-year average growth was 20.2%. And the profit of manufacturing industry totaled over CNY 4.13 trillion in the first seven months, growing by 56.4% year-on-year.

From January to July, the main business income of textile enterprises above designated size reached more than CNY 1.38 trillion, increased by 15.9% compared with the same period the previous year; the profit of textile industry totaled CNY 54.56 billion, with year-on-year growth of 4.2%. While the main business income of enterprises above designated size in garment and accessories industry reached CNY 779.94 billion, up by 11.0% year-on-year; the profit of garment and accessories industry reached CNY 33.23 billion, with year-on-year growth of 9.8%.

From January to July, the main business income of leather, fur, feather and their products and footwear industry reached CNY 599.79 billion, grew by 11.1% year-on-year; their profit totaled CNY 28.81 billion, with year-on-year decline of 1.4%.

From January to July, the main business income of enterprises above designated size in chemical fiber manufacturing industry was CNY 568.89 billion, up 36.6% year-on-year; and its profit totaled CNY 38.24 billion, surged by 384.7% year-on-year. In the first seven months, the profit of industrial enterprises above designated size totaled CNY 69.48 trillion, up by 25.6% year-on-year.
