Quality Control Devices are more and more installed on spinning machines.A quality control system in a spinning mill, wherein communication networks for yarn processing steps of information regarding the status of products are provided and malfunction detection apparatus for detecting a malfunction of the steps is provided on at least one of the processing steps so that the cause of occurrence of a malfunction may be grasped to pursue the cause tracing back to the previous processing steps through the networks.

Quality Control Devices are used to check on-line different process parameters of a textile yarn, in particular: the tension and linear speed.

The invention relates to a textile machine, especially textile yarn handling machines, having a plurality of identical work stations with a traveling service device which can be moved along the work stations and, more particularly, to a work station control and information system for such machines utilizing a central control device with an input device for data relating to the work stations, yarn batches or yarn quality, and a plurality of local control devices each of which is disposed at a respective work station and is connectable with the central control device for data exchange.

Fil Control offers 3 types of quality control:

1, yarn tension measurement

The tension measurement is used for automatic winding machine, which is designed for measuring the dynamical tension in a moving thread. This sensor is a dynamical sensor. The main element of this sensor is a piezoelectric element mounted on a flexible beam.

2, Non-contact yarn length measurement with the MDL-B

The MDL-B device is a Quality-Control product, based on capacitive technology, useful for measurement without contact of textile yarn lengths. It can also be used for speed regulation of the machine. More and more metered bobbins are needed for twisting, dyeing, weaving, etc.

It can be used on any kind of winder (cop winders, cone-to-cone, automatic winders with clearer, etc.)

3, Continuous tension measurement
